Student Veterans of America (SVA) of Tulane will be hosting a tent at Wednesday at the Square. Join us in this New Orleans tradition at Lafayette Square with music from Big Sam’s Funky Nation + Erica Falls! All veteran, active duty, and ROTC Tulane students, staff, faculty, alumni, and their allies are welcome. This is a free event with food and drinks provided by SVA and Alumni Affairs. RSVP here!

Wave Goodbye is an annual party for graduates that is modeled after New Orleans' many springtime festivals. All graduates and their guests are invited to mingle on Gibson Quad on the Uptown campus. The event features local music and a variety of New Orleans food in small plates. Wine and beer will be available for purchase (cash only). Graduates are allotted seven tickets each, one of which the graduate will need to use to enter the party. Children 10 years and younger do not need tickets. Tickets are issued to graduating students via the Gibson Online student portal in the weeks before the event. Tickets must be printed before the start time of the event.

The Unified Commencement Ceremony honors the graduating students from all of the university's schools and colleges. It features the pomp and circumstance expected of a traditional commencement celebration with a New Orleans twist. At this ceremony, expect to see the procession of graduates and faculty, the conferral of degrees and hear live jazz.

SoPA’s Diploma Ceremony will take place in McAlister Auditorium, and a reception in the Lavin-Bernick Center (LBC) Qatar Ballroom will follow the ceremony. Graduating students should report to our robing room in the lobby of Goldring/Woldenberg Complex (AB Freeman School of Business) no later than 12:30 p.m. |
