Jenna Rouse received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Tulane University and a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Anatomy from Tulane University School of Medicine. She teaches Nutrition and Behavior, Stress Management and the Human Body. She is also currently an adjunct in the Biomedical Engineering department, specifically in the Center for Anatomical Movement Sciences cadaveric dissection lab. Ms. Rouse has also worked in the allied health field as a medical assistant, ophthalmic technician and as a volunteer EMT for Tulane Emergency Medical Services during college. In her spare time she enjoys dogs, TV, and spending time in New Orleans Audubon and City Park.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I have always dreamed of taking a long trip through Northern India.
What's the first career you dreamed of having as a child?
I have always wanted to work in the sciences, and my first dream job was to be a veterinarian.
What is the best advice you've ever received?
"The best cure for anxiety is action" and "If you fail to prepare then prepare to fail."
