Samantha (Sam) Barnes is a graphic designer, web developer, writer, and social strategist, helping her clients build brands and create online experiences with a user experience first focus. Sam grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and Morgan City, Louisiana; so mais yeah, cher, she know dat Cotton-Eyed Joe.
Sam earned her B.F.A. from Nicholls State University with a concentration in Graphic Design. After graduation, she made her way to New Orleans as an optimistic front-end web developer.
Since then, Sam has worked alongside several agencies and on several brands including NOLA Motorsports, Stryker Corporation, French Market Corporation, Ochsner, Corporate Realty, One Canal Place, Aunt Sally’s Pralines, New Orleans Entrepreneur Week, and iOffice. She has also volunteered with AIGA New Orleans, holding terms of office as Communications Director and President.
Most of the time, Sam is a mom in a big, blended family and a giant nerd. There isn’t a topic that you could find that she probably does not have an opinion about or would want to know more about.
