
Biography
Chance Trubiani is a grammar school teacher with Greenlawn Terrace Elementary School, a title one school in New Orleans, Louisiana. He holds a deep commitment to supporting the collective self-actualization of children who are marginalized and under-resourced. Beyond his role as a teacher he serves on the Superintendent’s Advisory Board, and the Principal’s Steering Committee.
Partnerships with Tulane University, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and The Lake MetroParks Environmental Learning Center have guided his metamorphosis into an educator at the forefront of the Progressive Education Movement.
Within the Tulane Master of Public Administration for Educational Leadership, he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council. Chance holds a BA from Miami University, and Post-Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education from a prestigious private school, where he graduated with a 3.94 GPA and an edTPA score in the 97.7th percentile.
Prior to entering the world of educating children, Chance was a Security Analyst for the State Department, a Marketing Executive with Mercedes-Benz, and the Director of Marketing for a cosmetics firm.
