
Biography
Xiguang Zhao, B.S., M.S., Ph.D. is a web application architect, full stack web application developer and mobile app developer at Tulane University Information Technology Services. He has designed and built web applications that are currently used in Tulane University administration departments, Tulane University Medical School HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) Lab, and Louisiana DOTD.
Dr Zhao earned his Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from University of South Alabama (USA), his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology from Xiamen University, and his Ph.D. in Biology from Ocean University of China. Dr Zhao had over 10 years of higher education teaching experience.
Dr Zhao is passionate about information technology, and its real world uses. During his off time, he creates his personal home automation projects (e.g. smart home devices) with Arduino open-source platform, implements pc-controlled holiday lights projects, such as building Christmas tree with LED pixels controlled by pc programs.
