
Biography
Scott J. Belham, EDS, ATC, is currently teaches courses in worksite health promotion and healthcare economics in Tulane University’s Health And Wellness Program. Mr. Belham has been a practicing board certified athletic trainer for over thirty-four years providing services in the medical, athletic, and industrial settings. He received his B.S. in athletic training and M.S. in exercise physiology from the University of Southern Mississippi and an Ed.S. in educational leadership from William Carey University. Mr. Belham’s diverse background in the of field of sports medicine is reflected in his service as director of Slidell Memorial Hospital’s Sports Medicine and Fitness Center from 1989-1992; athletic trainer for the 1992 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team Trials in New Orleans, LA; the Lord of Dance troop in Biloxi, MS; as an industrial consultant to a variety of governmental and business organizations in the areas of injury prevention, ergonomics, and workplace safety; and as an orthopaedic physicians assistant and athletic trainer for medical practices in Hattiesburg and Gulfport. He works full-time as an educator/athletic trainer in South Mississippi and has presented at numerous state and regional workshops.

Everywhere, starting with the United Kingdom.

We provide students with knowledge steep in theory that is practical in application.
