What advice would you give to someone who's considering finishing their degree, or starting for the first time as an adult?
Never give up. Things are not always going to be easy, but remember, we don't grow when things are easy. We grow when we face challenges.
If you could be on any reality TV show, which would you choose and why?
Dancing with the Stars. I am not a star, but I would love to dance with the professionals. It's my guilty pleasure show every week.
What's the first career you dreamed of having as a child?
I wanted to be She-ra Princess of Power (He-man's sister). Other than a superhero, I never had a specific career in mind. I just wanted to have a career where I get to help people. I love being a professor because it allows me to help students discover their potential and achieve their career goals.
