Biography
Marie Erickson, M.L.S., J.D. earned her Master of Library Science. from Louisiana State University’s School of Library and Information Science in 1977 and worked in law libraries in New Orleans, Gretna, Los Angeles, and then in New Orleans again. Ms. Erickson earned her J.D. degree at Loyola University in New Orleans in 1982 and clerked in Louisiana’s 24th Judicial District after law school and joined the Louisiana Bar Association in October 1982. In addition to teaching in Tulane University’s General Legal Studies Program, she has taught first-year law students in Los Angeles and General Legal Studies students at the University of New Orleans. Ms. Erickson lives in the Marigny with her husband, a military historian, and two Plott hounds.
