Biography

Madison Duncan is SoPA’s Marketing and Communications Specialist, responsible for the marketing, communication, and business development efforts. Ms. Duncan is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of social media strategies from idea and design to content development and deployment.

Prior to Tulane, Ms. Duncan worked on the Global Partner Marketing team at Expedia to help develop marketing campaigns and strategies to penetrate new market segments and grow revenue. In addition to her role at Tulane, she owns and operates a growing social media agency where she helps businesses understand and leverage the power of social media.

She is a third-generation graduate of Purdue University. Growing up on a farm in Indiana, she realized early in life that the farmers life was not the life for her. Ms. Duncan moved to New Orleans in 2015 and now considers the Crescent City home -- even though she didn’t go to high school here. In her free time, she enjoys attending festivals, trying new restaurants, and people watching in the French Quarter.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I am a self-proclaimed Champagne enthusiast, so I would love to travel to the Champagne wine region of France and taste bubbly from the source!
