
Biography
Leigh Isaacson teaches Media, Terrorism, and Disasters for the Homeland Security Studies Master's Program, and Introduction to Journalism to undergraduate Public Relations students. She earned her Master's Degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Response Management from Tulane in 2017 and a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Digital Journalism from Syracuse University in 2011. Leigh was an investigative TV reporter at WSYR-TV in Syracuse NY, One Africa Television in Windhoek Namibia, and at WVUE-TV in New Orleans LA. She ran communications, fundraising, volunteer management, and sponsorships as the Southeast Regional Director of the Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana from 2015-2017.
She is the CEO and Co-Founder of Dig Dates, Inc., which is a pet technology company that runs Dig - The Dog Person's Dating App and throws dog-friendly events nationwide. Originally from Boston, MA, Leigh now resides in Gretna, LA.
What are your favorite activities when you are not working?
Leigh is an avid scuba diver, a student pilot, and dog mom to Penny the German Shorthaired Pointer.
