Kosuke Kojima, Ph.D. earned his LL.B. in Law from Chuo University, M.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from Tokyo Metropolitan University, M.S. in Exercise Physiology and Ph.D. in Human Performance from Indiana University. He is currently an assistant coach for Women’s Swimming & Diving Team at Tulane University. As a coach, he enjoys the privilege of working with student-athletes who are trying to achieve high academic and athletic goals and sharing a better understanding of the “why” and “how” questions of swim performance. He always looks forward to new experiences and going beyond the limits of the possible into the impossible with the team. His research interests include growth and development, sports performance and training, and pulmonary/respiratory physiology. Ultimately, he thrives on bridging the gap between the science of swimming and coaching of swimmers.
