Biography

Hope Sun, MS, Ph.D. is the team lead of the database administrators for Tulane University’s IT department. Dr. Sun earned a Master of Computer Science from University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology, and her doctorate in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology. Dr. Sun has more than 16 years of experience in database administration and programming. She also has extensive experience in administration of enterprise applications and Linux server.

Dr. Sun enjoys developing new learning experiences (such as new classes for Python / Pygame programing, Database Administration of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL. Enterprise System Management and Cloud Solutions).

Dr. Sun is passionate about teaching and bringing real world experience to her students.
