
Biography
Daniel B. Hollander, Ed.D., CSCS*D, has taught in higher education for over 20 years. At SoPA, Dr. Hollander teaches Wellness Coaching, and Childhood Obesity Interventions. Dr. Hollander earned his degrees from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Kansas State University, and West Virginia University. He applies principles of sport and exercise psychology and strength and conditioning to a range of projects and consulting services.
His research interests include perception of effort during exercise, pain, childhood obesity and resistance exercise. He is a co-owner of a consulting business in Hammond. Olympic weightlifting, USA triathlon, US tennis association, pre NFL combine athletes, and various sports have consulted with the Hollander group.
