Biography
Betty Lazarus attended the Isidore Newman School, University of Oklahoma and University of New Orleans.
While serving as Director of Library Services and Technology Coordinator for a K-12 private school, Ms. Lazarus began teaching at the SoPA Elmwood Campus, and then proposed teaching the course online in 2005 and has been enthusiastically teaching online ever since.
Ms. Lazarus loves everything New Orleans, including trying new restaurants, perusing all of the online resources about New Orleans festivals, sports, and loves to travel, so teaching online for Tulane is a perfect fit!
What advice would you give to someone who's considering finishing their degree, or starting for the first time as an adult?

What are your favorite activities when you are not working?
I am an avid reader, and take every opportunity to read whether online or hard copy. Books, newspapers, magazines, and journals. I am in three book groups, and am frequently asked to review books for organizations.
What is your favorite app and why?
I have to say What'sApp and Waze are by far my most used apps. I love to travel, so I use both daily, and highly recommend them!
