
Biography
A native New Orleanian, Donnell is a Master’s of Public Administration candidate in the School of Professional Advancement. Donnell comes to the program with experience in government and a passion for public service.
Donnell served on Capitol Hill, interning for former U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, then went on to serve in the Obama White House in the Office of Presidential Correspondence, working on President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative.
Donnell returned to New Orleans to get involved in K-12 education policy and shifted to working in higher education at Tulane University, where he currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Admission.
Donnell has a degree in Sociology from Franklin & Marshall College and is a member of F&M’s Alumni Board of Directors. Donnell’s also a KIPP alum and serves on the KIPP New Orleans Board of Directors as Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee.
