Women are underrepresented in STEM fields—they make up half of the U.S. college-educated workforce but only 26% of the professional computing workforce (National Center for Women & Information Technology, 2017).

SoPA wants to help change that by connecting current female tech leaders with women aspiring to break into the field. The event will be moderated by J. Michelle Russo, Program Manager at GDIT, and feature panelists with diverse roles and experience in the industry.
