Whether you've been considering going back to school to advance your current network or industry knowledge or are venturing into a new career, we want to give you a path that works for you. We offer accelerated online degree programs for working adults, including bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, associate's degrees, and certificate programs. Our flexible course programs are designed with your working schedule or busy home life in mind, with many online courses and weekend or evening schedules available.
We offer both the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in a wide range of disciplines and concentrations, from digital design and website development to emergency & security studies and public relations. Classes are offered on our campuses in New Orleans, Elmwood, and Biloxi, MS, as well as online. To receive a bachelor's degree from Tulane SOPA, students must complete a minimum of 120 credits of passing work, with a cumulative GPA of 2.0. Also, students will be required to take Tulane's Intensive Writing Course, English 1010, as well as demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language. Earning your B.A. or B.S. places you on the path to finding and landing that job you've been seeking. Each program carries different prerequisites, so explore more about our bachelor's degree programs.
We offer 30-credit degree programs in four different concentrations: Master of Liberal Arts, Master of Professional Studies in Information Technology Management, Master of Professional Studies in Health & Wellness Management, and a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security Studies. Students wishing to apply for an M.L.A. or M.P.S. degree must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, as well as official transcripts from each school attended. Unlike our bachelor's degree programs, students must hold a 3.0 GPA average while enrolled. Since our programs only require 30 credits, graduate students typically earn their degree in less than two years. Earning an M.L.A. or M.P.S. from Tulane SOPA not only gives you an advantage in an already crowded job market, but it also connects you with a diverse network of professionals in your field. Explore our list of master's degree programs to learn more about each program. Course availability may vary across campus locations.
Are you wishing to further your education but worried about how long it may take to earn a degree? Our associate's degree programs require 60 credits for completion, resulting in most graduates finishing their degrees in two years. We offer both the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees in 12 different disciplines, ranging from general legal studies to small business development. An A.A. or A.S. degree from Tulane SOPA can provide you with a significant stepping stone for workforce preparation or continued education with the option to earn your B.A. or B.S. Explore our entire list of associate's degrees to see which one may be right for you.
For students who have already earned a bachelor's degree and wish to further their education in a new industry, we offer Post-Baccalaureate Certificates. We also offer Certificates of Completion, which are condensed programs focusing on one concentration. Most of these continuing studies programs can be completed entirely through evening courses that meet once a week, giving you the most flexible option to advance your career. Disciplines include finance, human resource development, management, marketing, and new business ventures.
Whether you decide to go back to school to pursue a degree online or through a flexible program that combines on-campus and online learning, Tulane SOPA can put you on the path to greater, more dynamic career opportunities.
