Admissions Process
Our admission process gives you a chance to share more about yourself and define your goals. For both undergraduate and graduate programs, the first step is to begin the online application and submit the non-refundable processing fee. Applicants must request that official transcripts be sent directly to SoPA from all previous institutions.
Individuals who earned less than a 2.0 grade point average, or who were dismissed from, or on probation at, their last college may be admitted on probation at the discretion of the Academic Performance Committee. Conditions of probation at entry generally include a load limit of seven credits in the first semester.
Academic Credit for Life & Work Experience
At Tulane SoPA, we know that you bring unique experiences beyond the classroom. You may be eligible to earn credit for your prior life and work experiences through our prior learning assessment program, CLEP and DSST examinations, and previous military or post-secondary training.
Transfers
If you're interested in completing your studies with the School of Professional Advancement, our advisors can help you through the process. We accept transfer credits from all fully accredited institutions, and we are proud to have special partnerships for transfer students from Delgado College and the National Guard Bureau Homeland Security Institute (HSI).
